Few stories can make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up like his. From the battles in Germania to his domination of the Coliseum, Maximus’ story is one of betrayal, revenge and glory.
We believe Gladiator is one of the greatest films of all time, so why not use it as your inspiration to get out and run in order to earn yourself this iconic Maximus medal? But a medal of this significance cannot be earned easily – you will need to run a distance that challenges you and makes you reach deep within yourself. So do it for your family, do it for revenge, do it for the glory of Rome, but most of all, do it for you. (top tip: listening to the Gladiator soundtrack as you run will really help).

Awesome medal! So awesome in fact that it enticed my teenage son to run 21miles with his mum to “earn it”. You don’t have to run 21miles with your mum in order to add this brilliant medal to your collection though. You can if you wish to but that is entirely your decision and I’m not here to judge your life decisions.
